Belarusian ornament is an ancient code encrypted in symbols – a cipher of life where each pattern carries meaning: honoring ancestors, reflecting nature, conveying human emotions and hopes. Colors also hold significance: red symbolizes life, the sun, fertility, sacredness, and protection; white stands for purity, eternity, hope, and renewal.

The Symbalica workshop, inspired by traditional Belarusian ornament, invited participants to create postcard-metaphors, where symbols were formed not with lines, but with words—wishes, dreams, compliments, and affirmations. Written in red on white, these messages became personal talismans, carrying meanings of protection, renewal, and hope.
